Dear Audience,
We have recently been informed that due to health reasons, Ms. Martha Argerich is unable to travel to Shenzhen for her performances. Upon receiving this news, the "Verbier Festival 2026 Shenzhen" team immediately initiated urgent communication with the Verbier Festival in Switzerland, striving to understand the artist's situation and working overnight to discuss contingency plans. Mr. Martin T:son Engstroem, Founder of the Verbier Festival, also departed promptly to visit Ms. Argerich and actively coordinate performance arrangements.
However, due to health considerations, Ms. Argerich is currently unable to undertake long-distance travel and has ultimately, with regret, decided to cancel her participation in this Shenzhen engagement. We sincerely apologize for this development.
In response to this unforeseen circumstance, we have been working closely with our Swiss counterparts from the very beginning to formulate the latest program adjustments and emergency ticketing measures, aiming to minimize the impact on our audience.
Attached herewith is a personal letter from Mr. Martin T:son Engstroem, kindly requesting your understanding.
Once again, thank you for your comprehension and support.
