Postyr Project
The Danish vocal group POSTYR gives vocal music a facelift with their five voices, one computer, and catchy melodies. The group has become known worldwide for their characteristic and evocative sound, combining five captivating voices with sampled beats and heartfelt songwriting, also making POSTYR’s live performances unprecedented in the international music landscape.
 
The singers in POSTYR grew up with vocal and choral music and they met in the inspiring musical environment around the world-renowned Danish choir, Vocal Line, and the award-winning vocal group, Vox 11. POSTYR was founded in 2009 out of a desire and an ambition to innovate and generate vocal music through the development of newly composed music written specifically for this type of ensemble.

Kristoffer Fynbo Thorning (bass and beat and laptop)

Kristoffer Fynbo Thorning is a professional singer, beat boxer and technology enthusiast. He made his debut as a soloist in Vocal Management from the Royal Academy of Music, specializing in electronic voices in 2015. He has toured and taught workshops throughout Europe, Taiwan and the United States and has written the book ‘Icebreakers – A practical approach to group dynamics’ which is published in English, German and Danish. The focal point of Kristoffer’s approach to group dynamics is energy, interaction and humor.
 
As former singer of Vocal Line, his work in AAVF’s (Aarhus Vocal Festival) board and through Postyr’s concert and workshop company is well known on the international choral and vocal music scene for its pioneering approach to ‘e cappella music’ (electronic a cappella) his songwriting and his riveting Icebreakers.
 
Tine Fris-Ronsfeld (soprano)

 

Tine Fris-Ronsfeld is a Danish singer well-known throughout the choir and vocal music scene for her remarkable voice and stage presence, her innovative arrangements for the renowned Danish pop choir Vocal Line and for her catchy compositions for the contemporary a cappella group Postyr, with whom she has been touring Europe, the US and Asia since 2011.
 
Furthermore, Tine Fris-Ronsfeld is the manager and co-owner of 3 companies, conductor of the Danish pop choir “LYT”, co-conductor of the Danish National Youth Choir Syng Selected, co-author of the book “Icebreakers – A Practical Approach to Group Dynamics”, founder of a music and dance school for talented kids in the rural area, where she grew up and member of the board of AAVF and the music venue RADAR.
 
Anders Hornshøj Laugesen (baritone)

 

Anders Hornshøj holds an MA in contemporary singing and choir conducting from the Royal Academy of Music in Denmark.
 
Anders is the baritone in the electronic vocal group, Postyr. Besides his love for songwriting and arranging, Anders also has a heart for the visual presence, the blend, and the live-sound of the group.
 
Anders is an experienced studio singer, bandleader, choir conductor and voice teacher and he has among other things performed on Danish television on several occasions and won the national song competition "Danish Pop Talent". With his great sense of humor he manages to create a captivating vibe on stage and in the rehearsal room.
 
Lucas Tuan Minh Hoang

 

Lucas holds an MA in contemporary singing and dancing from the Royal Academy of Music in Denmark and is experienced soloist and songwriter with several solo albums under his belt.
 
Lucas has been teaching singing at the Royal Academy of Music and RAMA vocal centre for 10 years and toured all over Denmark as backing singer for Danish pop artists. Like Tine and Kristoffer, Lucas, also has a background as a singer in the Danish XL vocal group Vocal Line. Besides music and singing Lucas loves to do yoga, to travel and to eat great food from around the world.
 
Sofie Christiansen (Alto)

 

Sofie has just finished her master in singing, dancing and songwriting from the Royal Academy of Music in Denmark. During her studies she has released an ep under the alias So so Sofie and co-founded Musikalsk Børnehavefestival - a small music festival for kinder garden kids in her home town Aarhus - with her band Musikflyveren.
 
Sofie is an experienced singer, and acts as a backup singer in groups/bands like Gunnertoft Gospel Singers and Katrine Stochholm and as a lead singer in Baltser og Christiansen, Ulvetimen and Musikflyveren.
 
As a singer Sofie has a real love for timbre, words and storytelling.
