Erhu: Song Feifei
Song Feifei serves as a member of Always Folk Ensemble, an Erhu teacher of the Art College of Beijing Language and Culture University, and a member of the Erhu Society of China Musicians Association. Song started learning Erhu in 1994, successively under the tutelage of Associate Professor Zhai Yongku (Erhu educator), Professor Song Fei (Erhu performer and educator), and Professor An Ruli (Erhu performer and educator). Later, she studied folk instrumental music with Professor Sang Haibo. In 2013, she attained a Master’s degree from the China Conservatory of Music. In 2014, she won the Gold Award in the “Taoli Fenfang Cup” Folk Instrumental Music Competition; in 2018, she won the Gold Award for Traditional Group Category in the third National Folk Instrumental Music Competition of “Wenhua Award”. Song has appeared on the CCTV, BRTV and performed at the National Centre for the Performing Arts, Beijing Concert Hall and other venues. She has published more than 20 articles in core journals and magazines such as China Music and China Erhu. So far, Song has performed and made cultural exchanges in more than 30 countries as well as regions such as Italy and Vienna to critical acclaim.
 

Guzheng: Wang Ning
Wang Ning, a Guzheng player and a member of Always Folk Ensemble, graduated from the China Conservatory of Music with a Master’s degree in Guzheng Performance where she studied with Professor Qiu Ji. She had served as the principal Guzheng in Huaxia Chinese Orchestra of China Conservatory of Music and performed with the Orchestra in the US, France, Singapore, South Korea and other countries.
 
She had respectively participated in the music recording of the film Guns and Roses, famous music producer San Bao’s musicals, and renowned singer Li Lingyu’s records. In 2012 and 2013, she successfully held two recitals. With Huaxia Chamber Orchestra of China Conservatory of Music, Wang Ning won the Gold Award for Traditional Group Category in the third National Folk Instrument Music Competition of “Wenhua Award”, and the Gold Award for Group in the International Jiangnan Sizhu Invitational of “Shanghai Spring”. In addition, Wang Ning was the recipient of the Silver Award for Guzheng Professional Youth Group in the Macau International Instrumental Music Competition. She once recorded for "Yellow River Sound", the world's first Guzheng sound software, which was sold well in Europe and the United States.
 

Pipa: Wu Yaolei
Wu Yaolei began learning Pipa at the age of six. In 2006, she was admitted to the Middle School attached to China Conservatory of Music; in 2012, she entered the China Conservatory of Music, studying with famous performer Professor Yang Jing.
 
In 2007, Wu was second place of the Pipa Professional Junior Group in the CCTV Folk Instrumental Music Competition. In 2011, she won the Silver Award of Professional Junior Group in the National Youth Pipa Competition of “Dunhuang Cup”. She had been to Japan for performance exchanges at the invitation of Fujioka City and twice participated in the China-South Korea Exchange Concert. In 2008, she participated in the opening ceremony of the Olympic Games; in 2010, she was invited by the University of Pennsylvania to accompany the China Youth Chinese Orchestra to the United States for performance exchanges. With China Youth Chinese Orchestra and China Youth Plucked String Ensemble many times, she has performed at Beijing Concert Hall, the National Center for the Performing Arts, Beijing Forbidden City Concert Hall, and other venues.
 

Sheng: Ling Bo
Ling Bo, a member of Always Folk Ensemble, a teacher of Sheng in the Art College of Beijing Language and Culture University, a director of Sheng Professional Committee of China Nationalities Orchestra Society and the Administrative Head of Huaxia Heming Sheng Ensemble of China Conservatory of Music, graduated from the China Conservatory of Music with a Master’s degree in Sheng in 2017. He had studied with Professor Li Guanglu, a Chinese folk music artist and a doctoral supervisor at the China Conservatory of Music.
 
He was the recipient of the gold awards of five categories in the 2016 China Sheng Culture International Art Festival, First Prize of Winds Professional Youth Group in the 1st “Sun Moon Lake Cup” Music Competition in Taiwan, and the sole “Best Popularity Award” in the 2012 CCTV Folk Instrumental Music Competition. In May 2017, Ling Bo held a Sheng recital; in June 2017, he performed the world premiere of the Sheng Concerto “Yellow Emperor” with Tianjin Symphony Orchestra. He once visited Germany, Hungary, Poland, Russia, Australia and other countries for cultural exchanges.
 

Ruan: Li Beicheng
Li Beicheng was admitted to the Liuqin Performance Major of China Conservatory of Music as first place, studying with Professor Wei Wei, a famous Ruan educator and Liuqin educator. He joined the China Ruan Xian Orchestra and the Huaxia Chinese Orchestra, serving as a performer of Liuqin, Ruan, and other sections. Currently, he is a member of the China Ruan Xian Orchestra and the principal Liuqin player of Huaxia Chinese Orchestra.
 
The orchestras he once cooperated with include the Hong Kong New Voice Chinese Orchestra in “The Concert of Wang Huiran’s Works”, Huaxia Chinese Orchestra in “The Imaginary of the Silk Route Concert”, Beijing Chinese Orchestra in “The ‘Chinese Music Shines in China’ Concert” and “The Concert of the New Works by Composition Department of China Conservatory of Music”, China National Traditional Orchestra in “The Special Concert of Wei Yuru at NCPA”, and China Ruan Xian Orchestra in the special concert held at SOTA Concert Hall in Singapore. In 2020, he won the Solo Silver Prize, as well as the Gold Award of Group, in the Professional Category of Singapore International Ruan Xian Art Festival.
 

Bamboo Flute: Jiang Jinwen
Jiang Jinwen, a master of China Conservatory of Music, studied under the tutelage of Professor Chen Yue, a famous bamboo flute player and a master supervisor of China Conservatory of Music. Jiang Jinwen had won many prizes such as the National Scholarship, Artistic Practice Award, National Youth Folk Instrumental Music Education and Teaching Achievements Exhibition Award, the Gold Award in the second “Song Ting Long Yin” National Bamboo Flute Invitational, and the Gold Award of the fourth “Qing Yue Cup”.
 

Percussion: Liu Xiaohan
Liu Xiaohan, a master of percussion from the China Conservatory of Music, studied under the guidance of Professor Wang Yidong and Associate Professor Wang Jun. Currently, he serves as a member of the Percussion Society of China Musicians Association and a member of the Percussion Professional Committee of China Nationalities Orchestra Society. In 2014 and 2015, he won the Silver Prize of Junior Group respectively in the Singapore Chinese Percussion Competition and the U.S. “Huayin Cup” Instrumental Music Competition. In 2016, he was the recipient of the Gold Award in the Hainan International Percussion Competition. In 2018, he was second place of the Social Youth Group at the “Japan International Percussion Festival”. In 2020, he achieved the Gold Award in the China Percussion Online Competition. During the study period, he had joined a number of major performances including the program “Flowers in May” on CCTV in 2016, the first China Guzheng Spring Festival Gala in 2017, the Final of “Avenue of Stars” on CCTV in 2018, and so forth. Liu once performed in the 2018 International Percussion Festival Concert of the National Center for the Performing Arts and represented the conservatory to join China Art Exposition Show. In 2019, he participated in the closing ceremony of the World Horticulture Exposition. So far, he has performed with many professional orchestras such as the China National Symphony Orchestra and the Beijing Chinese Orchestra.
 

Piano: Liu Xiaoxi
Liu Xiaoxi, the founder of The Center of Classical Sound, was a collaborative pianist in the Voice Department of Shenyang Conservatory of Music. She studied under the tutelage of Professor Nikolaus Wiplinger, an Austrian piano maestro. In 2009, she attained a Master’s degree in Piano.
 
In 2010, Liu joined the Sheng Ling Choir, which is launched by Gong Linna. She had performed “Spring Comes After Winter” and “The Song of the Yellow River Boatman” together with Gong Linna. In 2011, she appeared in The Concert of Spring Festival at the Great Hall of the People. In the same year, she joined concerts such as The Lantern Festival Concert on Hunan TV and The Opening Ceremony of the 7th International Animation Festival on Zhejiang TV. In addition, she had sung works such as "Five Ancient Chinese Poems" and "Fengyang Flower Drum" by composer Chen Yi.
