Artistic Director/Piano/Composition: Sean Zhang
A stunningly virtuosic pianist and composer, Sean Zhang is recognized for his spiritual and poetic performances. Renowned as both a composer and a performer, he works closely with China’s leading film teams, game industry and music orchestras and festivals.
 
His extraordinary discography of over 10 albums, most of which received major praise from the music press and the market, features repertoire ranging from new age, pop, jazz, classical, to healing and electronic music. With over 4 million downloads from the Internet, his original album Xun Shi is known as one of the best and most welcomed music for sleeping aid and mentally healing.
 
With over 1500 sleeping at the same time on stage, Sean creates China’s first Chinese style concert series of sleeping and mentally healing Ming Shi, at grand opera houses over 20 cities, such as Guangzhou Opera House, Suzhou Arts Center, Quanzhou Opera House, Wuhan Qintai Opera House, and working closely with Tsinghua University in Beijing on Psychological Care & Music projects. Sean performs and conducts his new age sinfonietta, Shanghai-Wood, knowned as Shanghai’s first crossover orchestra for years, regularly invited by Shanghai Oriental Arts Center and Shanghai International Arts Festival. Highlights of the 2022-23 season include his sleeping concert tours in Beijing, Shanghai, Chengdu, Changsha, Shenzhen, Guangzhou, Xiamen and Xi’an.
 
Also known as China’s most experienced and talented pianist and composer in China’s Ballet field, Sean Zhang’s name and music accompanied with millions of Chinese ballet dancers for generations. He worked as a piano professor at Shanghai Theatre Academy for over 15 years, during which his original albums are played everyday by thousands of ballet companies and training organizations all over China with around 30 thousand listening statistics per day. Sean is also a regular guest and professor invited by China’s best ballet companies and schools, such as Hongkong Ballet, Shanghai Ballet, the Central Ballet Troup in Beijing, Guangzhou Ballet, Suzhou Ballet and Liaoning Ballet.
 
Sean is regarded as one of the outstanding and prolific composers of his generation in the fields of film, games, musical, theatre, and fashion shows. He composed well-known blockbusters such as Full Metal Jacket, 21 Carats, the Adventure of Pinocchio, the Fatal Reincarnation; game music like the Clash of Clans (work with Supercell), Pet Alliance, the Demon; 2016 Guerlain Ceremony, 2016 Shanghai Deign Week Grand Opening, 2019 opening ceremony of the WCG Competition; Drama theatre works like Hamlet (2006, with Shanghai Dramatic Arts Centre), Plague, Love Letter (with Shanghai Theatre Academy). In 2020, Sean has been an exclusive artist with the China Eastern Airline to compose the boarding and everyday service music. A new Chinese mental healing music album is to release working with Universal and Huanxiu App in 2022.
 

Video Director/Violin: Zeyu Hong
Zeyu Hong, who has lived in Austria for 13 years, graduated from the Vienna University of Music and Performing Arts, majoring in violin performance. After that, he worked in the live program team of Austrian orf TV, and served as the editor-director of Phoenix TV's European station for a long time.
 
After returning to China in 2014, he successively served as the opening video of Mini Automobile and Shanghai Weitai Coffee Car Owner Microfilm/Jaguar China Dealer Conference. Since 2016, he has been appointed as the executive director of Semir (Senrou Cotton) store window video for a long time. He served as the executive director of the 2015 Jim Rogers China Fortune Forum online live broadcast press conference; in 2016, he served as the director of the on-site official video team for the 10-hour live broadcast of the “Tmall Fashion Show”.
 
His experiences included: 2017 Mark Faye (Mark New Gentleman) annual Tmall window video director; 2018 League of Legends World Cup RNG team, South Korea live broadcast interview director; 2019 Shanghai “Shanghai Design Capital” as the executive director of the opening video; 2019 Cadillac National Youth Golf. In 2020, he worked as the chief visual planner of the government’s annual investment promotion in Sheshan Town, Songjiang District, Shanghai. He has also served as the visual executive director of major brands Douyin and Tmall stores for a long time, and has been unanimously recognized by customers, including Oriental Art Center, HSBC, Hopson, Hongkou Dragon Dream, Hopson, Bioderma, Bosideng, Diamond Bird, etc.
 

Flute: Xiao Liu
Master of Flute Performance, Boston University, USA, Xiao Liu studied under Geralyn Coticone, flute and piccolo soloist of the Boston Symphony Orchestra, Dr. Emily Butterfield, a flute educator and performer, Qi Yan, a famous flutist and educator, and Emi Hayashi, a Japanese flute educator and performer.
 
As a symphony orchestra musician, Liu Xiao has cooperated with many famous musicians, among them are Gospel singer Sandi Patti, winner of 5 Grammy Awards, famous music producer Jessi Lewis, winner of 3 Grammy Awards, Mr. Yuqiang Dai, one of China’s top three tenor singers, and Ms. Bixia Wu, a famous Chinese coloratura soprano, the famous conductor Bramwell Tovey, the conductor Franz Anton Krager and so on. She has also performed in many famous concert halls, including Carnegie Hall in New York, Symphony Hall in Boston, Tulsa Arts Center, Xinghai Concert Hall in Guangzhou, Shenzhen Concert Hall, etc.
 

Cello: Qiqi Mo
Qiqi Mo, graduated from Xinghai Conservatory of Music in 2020, is a cello player of China Film Orchestra. She received the guidance of Mr. Claus Kanngiesser from the Cologne Conservatory of Music in Germany, Liwen Dai from Kaohsiung Normal University in Taiwan, Eugene Osadchy from the Music College of the University of North Texas, and Jiwu Li from the Shanghai Conservatory of Music. She was rated as an outstanding talent of Xinghai Conservatory of Music, served as the cello principal in the school’s orchestra and performed with the school orchestra many times. In 2016, she won first place in the high school group of the Jiayi Cultural Cup Music Competition, in 2018 she won third place in the cello youth group of the Soloist Cello Music Festival Music Competition, in 2021 she won second place in the professional senior group of the Ai Qin Prize International Cello Competition (the first place is vacant).
