Oboe: Ramón Ortega Quero
Ramón Ortega Quero, a recipient of two ECHO Klassik Awards and the prestigious ARD International Music Competition in Munich, is widely recognized as one of the foremost oboists in the classical music world today.
In 2007, at the age of 19, Ramón won the ARD Music Competition, becoming only the second oboist in the competition's history to achieve this honor. This victory marked the beginning of his solo career. He has since collaborated with numerous orchestras, including the Konzerthausorchester Berlin, North German Radio Hanover, Basel Symphony Orchestra, Zurich Chamber Orchestra, and Vienna Chamber Orchestra. His chamber music partners have included renowned musicians such as Janine Jansen, Tabea Zimmermann, Mitsuko Uchida, and Guy Braunstein.
In 2008, at just 19 years old, Ramón joined the Bavarian Radio Symphony Orchestra as the principal oboist under the direction of Mariss Jansons. He has worked with esteemed conductors such as Riccardo Muti, Bernard Haitink, Nikolaus Harnoncourt, and Sir Colin Davis. The European Concert Hall Organization recognized him as a "Rising Star," leading to performances in major European music capitals including Vienna, Salzburg, Hamburg, Amsterdam, and Brussels.
Ramón's debut album, "Shadows," released by Solo Musica in 2011, earned him the ECHO Klassik Newcomer of the Year Award. In 2012, his chamber music album, created in collaboration with other musicians, won the ECHO Klassik Award for Best Chamber Music Recording of the Year. That same year, Decca released an album featuring Ramón and violinist Janine Jansen performing Bach concertos. In 2013, his album "Romantic Oboe," released by Genuin Classics, was nominated for the Chamber Music category at the International Classical Music Awards.
 

Oboe: Cui Xiaozheng
Cui Xiaozheng, currently serves as the principal oboist of the Shenzhen Symphony Orchestra. Additionally, he is a guest principal oboist and expert advisor for the Seoul Symphony Song Philharmonic Orchestra in South Korea. Cui has been honored with the Shenzhen Youth May Fourth Medal and is a board member of the Asian Double Reed Association & Bassoon Society, as well as the Shenzhen Young Musicians Association. He also holds a position as a guest professor at Shenzhen University.
Cui Xiaozheng studied under several esteemed mentors, including renowned Chinese Korean oboist Jin Guangyun, prominent oboe educator Professor Piao Changtian, and internationally acclaimed oboe soloists Professor Omar Zoboli and Professor Heinz Holliger.
Cui earned the highest soloist diploma in music performance from the Basel Academy of Music in Switzerland. In 2009, he joined the Swiss National Youth Symphony Orchestra (SJSO) as principal oboist. By 2010, he was interning with the Basel Symphony Orchestra, and from 2011 to 2013, he held a position with the Bern Symphony Orchestra. In 2013, he joined the Shenzhen Symphony Orchestra as principal oboist, a position he continues to hold, having participated in nearly a thousand symphonic performances. As a guest principal oboist, he has performed with world-renowned orchestras such as the Philadelphia Orchestra, Israel Philharmonic Orchestra, and Helsinki Philharmonic Orchestra. His performances have been highly praised at prestigious international music festivals, including the Merano Music Festival in Italy, the Bucharest Music Festival in Romania, and the Seoul Music Festival in South Korea.
Cui Xiaozheng has conducted master classes at the Central Conservatory of Music High School, Minzu University of China College of Music, Sichuan Conservatory of Music, and Seoul Institute of the Arts. His students have achieved numerous international awards, including the Gold Medal at the World Classical Music Awards, First Prize at the UNESCO International Music Competition, and Second Place at the Poland International Music Competition.
 

Conductor: Lin Daye
Lin Daye holds prominent positions serving as the music director and chief conductor of the Shenzhen Symphony Orchestra, the artistic director and chief conductor of the Wuxi Symphony Orchestra as well as special guest conductor of the China National Symphony Orchestra. Additionally, he is a professor of Composition & Conducting department at Shanghai Conservatory of Music and recognized as adjunct professor at the he Chinese University of Hong Kong-Shenzhen Conservatory of Music. He is also a key member of the Shanghai municipal-level innovation team "First-Class Orchestra Talent Training and Practice". He is a council member of the Chinese Musicians Association and a member of the Shanghai Youth Federation. Throughout his career, Lin has received numerous accolades, including the He Lüting Art Achievement Award in 2020 and 2022, the National Arts Fund Young Performing Artist Award in 2020, and the first prize at the 6th George Solti International Conducting Competition in 2012. Notably, in 2023, he was honored with the title of Top Ten Outstanding Youth of Shenzhen.
Lin's journey began with prestigious mentors such as Professor Xu Xin from the Central Conservatory of Music, Professor Zhang Guoyong from the Shanghai Conservatory of Music, and Professor Christian Ehwald from the Hochschule für Musik Hanns Eisler in Berlin, Germany, where he earned the Konzertexam certificate.
In May 2016, he assumed the role of music director and chief conductor of the Shenzhen Symphony Orchestra, leading the orchestra on both domestic and international tours to countries such as such as the Germany, United States, Italy, Romania, Slovenia, Canada, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Austria, Hungary and more. As well as participates in prestigious international music festivals such as the Ljubljana Festival, Radiro-International Radio Orchestras Festival, Emilia Romagna Festival, Merano Festival, Donizetti Festival, Festival delle Nazioni, Shanghai Spring International Music Festival among other international music festivals. His recent tour with the Shenzhen Symphony Orchestra in the United Kingdom in March 2024 received widespread acclaim from critics and audience.
