Percussion: Cornelia Monske
Cornelia Monske, born in Hannover, transitioned from violin to percussion, studying under Siegfried Fink at the Academy of Music in Würzburg, where she completed her state examinations, and Klaus Treßelt for her soloist examinations. She further honed her skills in Tokyo in 1990 on a DAAD scholarship with Keiko Abe at the Toho-Gakuen School of Music. Monske also trained extensively with Robert van Sice at the Rotterdam Conservatory, Emmanuel Séjourné at the Conservatoire Strasbourg, and Leigh Howard Stevens in New Jersey.
In 1991, Monske received a scholarship from the Deutscher Musikrat and joined the Concert of Young Artists. She premiered Tilo Medek's "Konzert für Schlagzeug und Orchester" in 1994 with the Philharmonia Hungarica and toured Russia in 1995. Monske performed with orchestras at major venues such as the Schauspielhaus in Berlin, Beethovenhalle in Bonn, and Staatstheater Darmstadt, and gave solo performances across Germany and internationally in cities like Helsinki, Altea, and Ljubljana. She premiered numerous works by composers including Susanne Erding and Violetta Dinescu, many dedicated to her, and released several CDs like "Percussion Concertant" and "Marimba First."
From 1993 to 1998, Monske taught marimba at the Academy of Music in Detmold, contributing significantly to youth music literature and curriculum development. In 2007, she was appointed Professor at the Hamburg College of Music and Drama and became Vice Dean in 2020. Monske's notable performances include the Kaaja Saariaho festival and premieres of works by Soren Morand and Alejandro Vinao. She conducted concert tours in China, held master classes in Seoul and Holland, and gave recitals in the USA.
Monske participated in the Hilde-Domin-Festival and performed with the Hamburger Percussion Ensemble across Germany. She collaborated with Olaf van Gonnissen and Eberhard Lauer in venues like the Elbphilharmonie and Vienna Guitar Festival. Recent highlights include concert tours in China, a performance at the Dubai Expo, and a celebrated Germany tour with "Hamburg Percussion" for Yannis Xenakis' 100th birthday.
Monske is also a sought-after juror for the "Jugend Musiziert" competition and the "Hansa Kultur" online competition.
 

Conductor: Lin Daye
Lin Daye holds prominent positions serving as the music director and chief conductor of the Shenzhen Symphony Orchestra, the artistic director and chief conductor of the Wuxi Symphony Orchestra as well as special guest conductor of the China National Symphony Orchestra. Additionally, he is a professor of Composition & Conducting department at Shanghai Conservatory of Music and recognized as adjunct professor at the he Chinese University of Hong Kong-Shenzhen Conservatory of Music. He is also a key member of the Shanghai municipal-level innovation team "First-Class Orchestra Talent Training and Practice". He is a council member of the Chinese Musicians Association and a member of the Shanghai Youth Federation. Throughout his career, Lin has received numerous accolades, including the He Lüting Art Achievement Award in 2020 and 2022, the National Arts Fund Young Performing Artist Award in 2020, and the first prize at the 6th George Solti International Conducting Competition in 2012. Notably, in 2023, he was honored with the title of Top Ten Outstanding Youth of Shenzhen.
Lin's journey began with prestigious mentors such as Professor Xu Xin from the Central Conservatory of Music, Professor Zhang Guoyong from the Shanghai Conservatory of Music, and Professor Christian Ehwald from the Hochschule für Musik Hanns Eisler in Berlin, Germany, where he earned the Konzertexam certificate.
In May 2016, he assumed the role of music director and chief conductor of the Shenzhen Symphony Orchestra, leading the orchestra on both domestic and international tours to countries such as such as the Germany, United States, Italy, Romania, Slovenia, Canada, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Austria, Hungary and more. As well as participates in prestigious international music festivals such as the Ljubljana Festival, Radiro-International Radio Orchestras Festival, Emilia Romagna Festival, Merano Festival, Donizetti Festival, Festival delle Nazioni, Shanghai Spring International Music Festival among other international music festivals. His recent tour with the Shenzhen Symphony Orchestra in the United Kingdom in March 2024 received widespread acclaim from critics and audience.
