Khachaturian Trio
The Khachaturian Trio, also known as "Arsika," was founded in 1999 and has performed in over 40 countries, including prestigious venues like the Vienna Musikverein. They have been featured at international festivals such as the Costa Rica Festival of the Arts and are frequent guests on television and radio. The trio has released nine critically acclaimed albums focusing on Armenian and Russian music. The ensemble consists of pianist Armine Grigoryan, violinist Karen Shahgaldyan, and cellist Karen Kocharyan, who are all dedicated to music education. In 2008, the trio was renamed in honor of Aram Khachaturian, and along with philanthropist Asadour Guzelian, they established the Classical Music Development Foundation. Recently, they have presented grand performances in tribute to Aram Khachaturian and organized concerts honoring both classical and contemporary composers. Their close collaborations with contemporary composers and the Aram Khachaturian Museum have further enriched their contributions to the music world.
