Australian Broadway Musical Troupe
Australian Broadway musical troupe is composed of 16 singers and dancers and a 10-person band. They select the most representative and popular musical pieces in the Broadway musical history, rearrange the dance and music to show the charming broadway characteristics. The wonderful cooperation between performers and the band will bring the audience a wonderful audio-visual feast.
David Rogers-Smith
David Rogers-Smith is highly regarded as a performer of both classical and operatic repertoire and music theatre. He joined the ensemble of the Australian production of the phantom of the opera in 1993. He served as lead role in many operatic pieces, like Ubaldo Piangi, Michelle in The Saint of Bleeker Street, Pinkerton in Madam Butterfly, Brujon in Les Miserables etc. He debut in a concert of music by Webber with Sydney Symphony Orchestra at the Sydney Opera House.
CLARISSA SPATA
Clarissa graduated with Distinction in Voice (Bachelor of Music) from The Sydney Conservatorium of Music. She inspired to pursue an operatic career at age 11. In 2011, Clarissa won the prestigious Opera Foundation Australia’s Lady Fairfax New York Award. Clarissa has performed the roles of The Sorceress and First Witch in two separate productions of Dido and Aeneas; Quivera in The Indian Queen and Gianetta in The Gondoliers. Her Music Theatre roles include Cosette from Les Miserables, Kate/ Lilli Vanessi in Kiss Me Kate, Babe Williams in The Pajama Game etc.
