The public performance features Guqin ensemble playing, Guqin recital and the cooperation between Guqin and other musical instruments. Performed by Youdi Wang and her students, with Chao Zhang as percussionist, Zheng Jiang as Xiao performer, and Shandi Pan as pianist, program highlights classic Guqin works. As a young Guqin performer, Youdi Wang is also a teacher of The Hong Kong Academy of Performing Arts. Under the tutelage of famous Guqin performers Professor Yi Gong and Jiazhen Zhao, as well as Doctor Junren Xie, Wang is a gold medalist under the young professional group of the 2^nd National Guqin Competition. In 2013 she founded a Guqin studio with the aim of promoting Guqin culture.
