- The Program
This performance highlights cello solo and cello quintet. Program contains Bach’s Prelude from Cello Suite No.6, The Swan by Saint-Sanes, Salut d’amour by Elgar, Libertango by Piazzolla and Pavane by Fauré, etc. Performers include Fange Zhang, graduated from Cleveland Institute of Music and currently assuming the role of secretary-general of Shenzhen Cello Association; Yongkang Zhu, graduated from New England Conservatory; Yiran Deng, winning first place of cello group at 2018 Seattle Russian Music Festival and currently studying the prior course at Juilliard School; Tu Gu, graduated from Cleveland Institute of Music and winning second place of cello group at CIMIA Concerto Competition; Kaituo Liu, graduated from Shanghai Conservatory of Music; Xinyan Zou, first prize recipient of the 8th Steinway & Sons National Youth Piano Competition.
