- The Program
This performance features Shenzhen Symphony Orchestra Youth Orchestra conducted by chief conductor Jacky Wong. Founded in September 2015, the Youth Orchestra is the “youngest” orchestra in Shenzhen, consisting of teenagers between the ages from 8 to 20. Praised as “Young Barenboim of China”, Wong, as pianist and conductor, is a shining star in the field of classical music. Program highlights Symphony No. 9 "From the New World" by Dvořák and Symphony No.4 in f minor by Thaikovsky.
