Xin Tong, pianist and computer scientist, had studied under the tutelage of maestro Jerome Lowenthal, Peter Serkin, Richard Goode, Cong Fu, and Zhaoyi Dan. He has a master degree in Piano Performance at the Juilliard School and bachelor degrees in computer and electronic engineering at Yale University. Xin Tong has given a number of recitals in Europe, Asia and America. He has also won many international competition awards including the awards in Woodmere, Chicago, and Cincinnati World Piano Competitions. Once, he represented China entering into the final of Chopin International Piano Competition in Warsaw which is regarded as the “Piano Olympics”.
